At FGStud we believe that the rider / horse relationship is critical to a successful partnership and although dressage training can often be both demanding for horse and rider it must be an enjoyable process that maintains respect for the horse at all times.
Learning to read your horse, who more often than not has the answer, is something that we encourage at every step of the training process, the result should be harmony between horse and rider that presents a beautiful picture in the dressage arena.
Horses are athletes with a natural spirit and power, our aim is to harness and channel this athleticism and if possible improve on it. If we can acheive this we are half way towards producing a top class dressage horse.
We hope that through our training methods we can narrow the gap between ordinary horses and well bred dressage horses and produce a happy, well trained horse.
